| Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 it is now mandatory for anyone who is liable to exposure to asbestos fibres at work to receive awareness training on the dangers of asbestos and the steps required to avoid exposure in the workplace. This includes not only those involved in asbestos removal work but also duty holders, contractors, maintenance workers and other workers who may be responsible for, come into contact with or disturb asbestos during the course of their work. |
