At Strategic Risk Management our objective is to provide CDM co-ordination services which deliver client value stretching beyond compliance with the regulations.  We believe time invested in the early stages understanding the client’s business will enable the delivery of a set of final documentation that neatly fits within the client’s business model.
These documents should enable the client to effectively maintain the completed project after practical completion of the project is obtained.
A typical schedule of work would be as follows:
  1. Ensure that client has been notified of duties under the CDM Regulations.
  2. Notify project to Health and Safety Executive.
  3. Identify further surveys or investigations required in connection with the CDM Regulations and report to Client.
  4. Advise Client, if requested, on competence of designers and allocation of adequate resources for health and safety.
  5. Assess health and safety aspects of proposed scheme, review designers risk assessments and comment on proposals, including compliance with CDM Regulations and phasing of works.
  6. Use reasonable endeavours to ensure co-operation between designers, and co ordinate the health and safety aspects of the designs.
  7. Prepare pre-construction Health and Safety information pack.
  8. Review tenders from a Health and Safety perspective.
  9. Advise Client, on competence of contractors and allocation of adequate resources for health and safety.
  10. Agree Contract Health and Safety Plan with main contractor
  11. Review variations and additions to contract drawings, revised risk assessments and method statements during course of works.
